The hotel is clean and tidy with well-decorated rooms, providing a cozy atmosphere. It’s centrally located, making it easy to access local attractions without too much hassle.
Guests are unexpectedly restricted from bringing alcohol or food into their rooms, which can dampen the mood for a romantic getaway. There's limited communication with management, handled only via text, which complicates resolving issues like noise disturbances from other guests. certain rooms may have a noticeable damp smell, suggesting maintenance needs more attention to avoid discomfort during stays.

The room cleanliness was impressive, and the overall cozy vibe made it a decent stay. Breakfast was solid. you could order what you wanted fresh, which was a nice touch on mornings.
The strict no-alcohol policy in the rooms was unexpected and made for an awkward atmosphere during a couples' getaway. I found the family room too cramped for comfort, and there was a musty smell lingering that suggested maintenance issues. Communication with management was text-only, which became inconvenient during a noisy night with rowdy guests nearby. You also couldn’t bring any food back to the room, limiting your options for enjoying a relaxed evening.

The Mardonia Hotel offered a lovely stay with a warm welcome from the owners. My room was clean and newly decorated, contributing to the comfortable ambiance. I especially enjoyed the large bathroom and cozy bed, which felt perfect after a day exploring Blackpool. Breakfast was a standout, hearty enough to keep us satisfied until dinner. The bar area was a nice touch for winding down in the evening. I found the bathroom a bit cramped, and it was surprising that I couldn’t bring my own drinks into the room. The location was fantastic, making it easy to access attractions without needing to drive. While I appreciated the communal dining area for eating carry-out food, I wish I’d known about the strict food policy beforehand. the ambiance and service made my stay enjoyable, although some rules felt overly restrictive.
